Toys with Heart - Valentines Day
It's February and love is in the air! Valentines day is coming and there are hearts everywhere, chocolates and teddy bears holding 'Love you' hearts.
We had a look around the garage and thought about what love means to us. No surprise that we think love means a little more than hearts and flowers or chocolates. (don’t get me wrong I won’t say no to chocolate or flowers sometimes.)

There are so many ways to say I love you, to kids, to friends and your better half.
Playing games together.
Spending time and doing things together creates memories and is bonding time. Ahem, letting them win sometimes can also be a sign of love.
Knowing what somebody likes.
Remembering that their favourite colour is blue or that they love pirates is a sign that this person means something to you.
Making things for someone.
Taking the time to create something, the time and effort that goes into making something yourself. Hand made is always special.
Playing what they want to play, doing what they want to do.
Spending time doing what they enjoy even if you don’t really want to.
Reading a book together.
A cuddle and a book is a great way to connect and share a lovely time, especially when it includes laughs or learning.
Cooking and sharing food.
A time old way of building friendships and creating memories is sitting at a table breaking bread together. Cooking for someone, providing a meal or cookies, is a such a wonderful expression of love.
Sharing
Sharing what you have with those that are around you is a way of showing your love. It's mine, and I would like you to enjoy it too.
Giving
Donating time or money is also a beautiful way of showing love for someone. Check out our Love Your Sister Bundles for a beautiful, fun way to donate to a this great charity.
There are so many beautiful ways to show love, without spending more money and all of these things can be every day, not just one day of the year.
It’s so important to show kids that love looks different for different people and doesn’t just come from a big price tag.
❤️
We love what we do and we thank you for allowing us to share that love with you.
Thanks for playing with us.
