Tummy time is such an important for babies because it strengthens the neck, shoulder, and core muscles they'll need for future milestones like rolling over, sitting up, and crawling.
Its always good to start with short sessions, just a few minutes at a time, soon after birth, gradually building up to about 15 to 30 minutes total per day by 3 months, always while the baby is awake and supervised.
