Our 1st Birthday Celebrations! 0

On 1st June 2013, lucaslovescars.com has been trading for a year.   365 days of cars and trucks and things with wheels.  Of finding new products, sharing them with you and hearing about all the other little boys (and girls) who have a similar obsession with cars, trucks, planes or trains.

We want to celebrate our birthday with you so we have some fantastic specials happening all through June.

All month we will have new products each week, flash specials, discounted items, gift with purchase and also a big Birthday Party giveaway at the end of June.

I often say that this business is my 'new baby' and I have a similar feeling around this milestone as I did the day Lucas turned one. (That was a few years ago!)  Through all the excitement of this fantastic event my mind keeps shifting from "Where has the time gone?" to "It feels like a lifetime ago!"  Which brings me back to thinking about Lucas, they really don't stay young for long.  Enjoy the cuddles.  :-)

For the whole of June we are going to give the presents to YOU!

The HAPE car will be added to your order after checkout.  (until stocks run out.)

You can nominate the HAPE car you would prefer in the comments box.  We will try to grant your wish.

Spend amounts are after the 10% discount has been applied.

Gingerbread men the 'Lucas way' (Trains, cars, aeroplanes and more!) 1

Usually it's 'Mummy can you play cars with me?' but this afternoon it was 'Mummy can we make biscuits!'

I had mentioned to Lucas earlier in the day that we should try out the new Transport Biscuit cutters that we are now selling. ( Available HERE )  We are making biscuits for his birthday in a few weeks, so I thought we should do a practice run.

Here is the fun we had in pictures.

Step 1 - Wash your hand (no photo!)

Step 2 - We had to open the package and look at the lovely shapes.

Step 3 - Gather all the ingredients.

Step 4 - Make a mess!

Step 5 - Yummy cooked biscuits.

Step 6 - decorate (yeah Mum did these ones.)
